Lunático is a rustic recording and songwriting studio with homes in Bohemia and Umbria.
Built around the creative process rather than the production line, Lunático is a place for artists, songwriters and musicians to step away from the usual studio environment and spend time developing music.
Come with a song, a handful of ideas, or nothing at all.
Write. Rehearse. Experiment. Record demos. Try arrangements. Make mistakes. Start again.
The studios combine a relaxed, lived-in atmosphere with the essential tools for songwriting and pre-production—real instruments, microphones, recording equipment and enough technology to capture an idea properly without letting technology become the point.
Songwriting Workshops
Twice a year, Lunático gathers a small circle of songwriters at Monestevole in the heart of Umbria.
Days are for writing, chasing half-ideas, changing keys, rewriting the chorus.
Nights end with a simple ritual: we perform the songs born that day, rough edges and all. It’s about momentum, not polish, time away, shared tables, late nights, the spark you feel when a new song takes its first breath. You leave with a recorded performance of songs that are alive and moving.
